I let my head fall back in the pillows and waited for Nicholas to come to bed. My eyes half closed and my hand on my stomach. Out of nowhere the baby inside me kicked me hard in my stomach and i shot up catching breath.

"It kicked me, really hard." i whispered between breaths.
