Alec frowned. "The only place she ever took me was her mother's old house in France. She never talked about anywhere else either, so I don't know if that's where she would take her but it's my best guess unless you know a place that would be better." Alec's nerves were making him babble so he forcibly closed his mouth with a huge effort of will.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"Then let's try there first. I'll go first, hopefully she still won't kill me." Zane said, disapperating.

Amalia made the fire disappear when Zane apperated in the living room. 
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Does she still have you wrapped around her little finger." Amalia hissed, annoyed. Kaalee was burned and bloody and barely conscious. But she managed to form words. 
"Get...out...of...here. Don't...bring..." Kaalee managed before Amalia backhanded her. 
"SHUT UP!" Amalia screamed. 

[Alec/Jay]

Alec stared at his watch, following the second hand as it ticked slowly around. After a painful minute , he couldn't stand just waiting around and doing nothing anymore. He stood up, his jaw clenched in determination, and to keep himself under control, and he turned on the spot. He reappeared in the apple orchard outside the French manor, just to be safe. He crept silently toward the house and snuck around to the side window. Peeking in, he saw that the kitchen was empty. He silently slid the window up and crawled through. The only noise he made through the whole ordeal was the soft thump a his feet landed on the wood floor. He froze, ears straining to hear anything; he caught the sound of muffled voices through the kitchen door. They were in the living room. Alec began shaking from nerves, anger, fear, and emotions he couldn't put a name to. He held his breath wincing every time his shoes made a noise as he stepped toward the door.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"Oh? You brought a friend! Is he your lover? I guess it's time now isn't it? This didn't last nearly as long as I thought it would!" Amalia sighed, grabbing her wand. 
"However first!" She said, turning towards Zane. 
"Expellarmious!" Amalia yelled, catching his wand as it flew passed her. 
"Now be a dear and go sit on the couch while I have a nice chat with Mr. Weibel here." Amalia grinned at Zane who glared at her. 

[Alec/Jay]

When Amalia turned to face Alec, he raised his wand in one swift motion and sent a silently cast stunning spell her way. His face wa twisted in fury and fear had clenched his heart when he saw Kaalee sitting in a chair, looking so beat up and injured.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

Amalia blocked it, glaring at him.
"Now that was dumb. You don't attack the woman who's torturing you're fiancé, while she's standing next to your fiancé." She said, grabbing Zane wand, to try and start Kaalee on fire again. But it didn't work.
"Rule number one of Engagements. Never fight you're opponent with you're real wand if they have the upper hand." Zane said, taking out his real wand
"I learned from the best Mally." He said before he performed the killing curse for the second time in his life.

[Alec/Jay]

Alec never thought that he would be so relieved and happy to are the flash of green light that signified the death of a human being. He sagged against the wall in relief before he even saw the results of the curse. He simply assumed that Zane's curse would hit it's mark.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

Amalia fell backwards, her face permently cat like. Kaalee was still sobbing quietly in the chair. She was so close to passing out but she needed to see his face. Before...
"A...al..." She said, but she couldn't finish his name.

[Alec/Jay]

Alec understood and crossed to in front of her is. He kneeled, looking up into her fluttering eyes. Cupping her face gently in his hands, he gave her a small sad smile. "You're gonna be alright, Kaals."

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

She shook her head, blinked once, before passing out.

(Tha was perfect! haha I had to go for a little bit too.)

Alec rested his forehea on her knee for a second before he rose shakily to his feet. He turned to Zane, his expression conveying all the gratitude Alec felt toward the other man that he couldn'tput into words. "I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay you for all of this, Zane," he began hesitantly.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"You save her...and then you leave me alone. I repaid my debt to her. I don't want to see the either of you again." He said coldly, before disapperating.

[Alec/Jay]

Alec nodded his understanding even though the other man had already disappeared. Gently, he picked Kaalee up in his arms after cutting off the bonds, and he apparated to St Mungo; he was certain they were goetting sick of him.
Once he appeared there, he asked a receptionist, who took one look at Kaalee's state and was immediately at attention, for Healer Jinn. She nodes and through some magical means, informed Jinn. The curly haired witch apparated seconds later. She quickly conjured a stretcher for Kaalee and Alec placed his fiancée gingerly on the apparatus. He quickly informed Jinn about what had happened as they hurried down the corridor to an empty room. The other woman gave Alec a pitying glance and then disappeared with Kaalee into a room. Two more healers appeared seconds later, and followed Jinn into the hospital room. Alec was resigned to sitting outside the door, his back against the wall and his face buried into his hand, which were propped up on his knees.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

Jonnilee got there just before Healer Jinn came back out.
"We healed all her external wounds. But the pyscological...Kaalee has a certain...pattern of making herself heal. She's been here twice, she was missing four years of her life before this. I am almost positive she'll do it again. I don't know how much she will block or if she will ever remember but you must be prepared." Jinn said gently, more to Alec since Jonnilee has already gone threw this.

[Alec/Jay]

Alec glanced between Jonnileee and Jinn, before his blank gaze settled on the healer. "...So you're telling me she probably won't know who I am? well that's just bloody marvelous." His voice was bitter and broke. he got to his feet and shoved his hands deep in his pockets before going up to the window an gazing in at his fiancée who was asleep on the hospital bed with a heartbreaking expression on his face. He made a pained sound deep in his throat before he walked off down the corridor, his shoulders hunched.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"You can't give up hope Alec. Everything will work out like it's supposed to." Jonnilee went to comfort her almost brother in law. She knows how this could destroy a person.
"And even if she doesn't remember, you'll win her over again, I know you will." Jonnilee said.

Kaalee woke up in the hospital bed.
"Crap." She muttered, opening her eyes.
"You're awake." One of the healers said.
"Yeah. What's the year?" Kaalee asked her.
"What do you think the year is?" The healer aske her.
"2011?" Kaalee asked looking at her hair. It was back to brown, she'd have to change that.
"Just a bit off. 2013." The healer said and Kaalee gasped.
"Two years? Oh my God! Where's my dad?" She asked and the healer smiled sympathetically. She went over all that they knew. It only fit into an hour, of course that wasn't half of it. Mostly it was just the order and how her dad died.
"Is my...is my sister here?" Kaalee asked.
"Yes. And a man, I'll get them." The healer said. While she was gone Kaalee changed her hair color with her wand that was laying next to her. Back to it's white with purple streaks and black tips.

[Alec/Jay]

Alec nodded stiffly, his eyes bright with unshed tears; he wouldn't cry. "Right, sure." His voice was thick with sadness and feigned hope. He stared at his feet for a second before taking a deep breath and squaring his shoulders. He looked like his usual, optimistic self again as he gave Jonnilee a smile. He had a determined fire burning in his eyes as he said, "You're right, Jonni, I will. She can't forget a handsome man like me now can she?"
The sound of heels clicking on tile dragged his attention down the hallway to the approaching healer. "Mr. Wiebel, Ms. Snape," she called to them. Alec winced at the formal titles. "She is awake."
Jonni nodded, but Alec stiffened and grabbed her hand tightly in his nervousness. He swallowed, his throat suddenly very dry. "R-right," he croaked out, "C-coming."

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

Kaalee sat herself up when a man and her sister came in.
"Looks like I can't keep myself outta trouble can I?" Kaalee smiled at her sister. Before she looked at the man.
"Alec right? You ran into me when Evie and I were leaving the kitchens." Kaalee said, a little confused as too why he was here.

[Alec/Jay]

A sad look passed over Alec's face before he replaced it with an easy smile. "You got that one right on the first try, Kaalee. What a smart cookie you are." He sent her a wink before sinking into a chair next to her bed and leaning back with his hands folded behind his head. "You just couldn't resist me and my gorgeousness. It's okay, there is nothing to be embarrassed about, love. I'm pretty hard to resist." he felt weird, trying to go back to how their relationship was before they had confessed their love and gotten engaged.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"Hmm...are you sure about that? Not sure you're quite my type, got a bit of a mouth on you." She smirked.
"So...got tortured again did I? Must have been fun." Kaalee sighed.
"Did ya get her this time? I don't want to lose much more. I know I'm missing ssomething important. Otherwise you sir wouldn't be here." Kaalee said to him.

[Alec/Jay]

He gave her a Cheshire cat grin. "It's aaallll part of my charm."
He sent a questioning gaze at Jonni, clearly asking for instructions on where to go from here. he didn't know how much was too much to tell her, or what, if told, would screw everything up.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"So what did the healers say?" Jonnilee asked. 
"Come on Jonnilee! Just tell me what happened!" Kaalee groaned. 
"No! I don't want you going into a coma or something!" Jonnilee said fiercely. 
"Fine. Dad's dead, so is Voldemort, I was part of the Order posing as a Death Eater and I'm a teacher at Hogwarts, that's it. Now is she dead?" Kaalee asked them. Jonnilee sighed before nodding. 
"Yeah, she's dead." Jonnilee said. 
"Good. Maybe I'll remember stuff then." Kaalee muttered. 
"So...when can I blow this popsicle stand?" She asked them. 
"I don't know...why don't I go find Jinn." Jonnilee said, standing up. 
"Tell her I won the bet!" Kaalee called after her. Then she turned to Alec. 
"Been here a few times. So...why are you here?" She asked him. 

[Alec/Jay]

Alec snorted at her calling the hospital a "Popsicle joint" and quickly stofled his laughter in his fist. He shifted awkwardly when Jonnilee left him alone with Kaalee, but he sunk casually deeper in his chair and propped his feet up on her bed to hide it.
"Me? Oh just checking up on a friend. You see, I was affiliated with the Order--through Fred and George Weaseley--and so I got to know you a little better. I'm also one of your colleagues at Hogwarts; Madam Ponfrey felt she was getting too old or her job and so I took over for her." he explained, hoping he wasn't giving anything too serious away. "When Jonni informed everyone that you were in the hospital, I thought I would come and visit. I knew my awesome presence would help soothe your pain." He gave a cocky smirk and looked at her through eyes half-lidded with exhaustion.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"That's not true love. But I'm not going to press because you're not going to tell. But you look exhausted. Come here." She said, scooting over. She misjudged his apprehensive look.
"I don't bite. Well I do but only on Tuesday's. And if we haven't hooked up that means we're friends, and it shouldn't be awkward. And if he have hooked up then it still isn't awkward and while the safest place to pass out is in a hospital I still wouldn't advise it." She said, patting the bed next to her.

[Alec/Jay]

He laughed warmly at her. Merlin, he forgot how funny she could be when they weren't faced with life-or-death situations. "We haven't hooked up...yet." He waggled his eyebrows in a suggestive manner at her. "Of course, we can remedy that situation right here if you'd like."
She simply rolled her eyes at him and muttered something that sounded awfully close to "pervert."
But, he did as he was instructed and moved stiffly to the bed. Alec flopped down, face first, nudging her head over so he could have room on the pillow. He groaned contentedly; at that moment, the hospital bed, as terrible as they are, felt like the best mattress he had ever laid upon.
