[Nara]

I could hear voices around me but i couldn't open my eyes. Thoughts were racing through my mind one in particular, Nicholas how was he doing! I could feel my heart racing harder when i thought about him i wanted to open my eyes but my whole body was achy everything was hurting me. I had a weird dream about my father and how desperately i wanted him by my side. Then i felt something and fell myself fall in a deep sleep.....

[Alec/Jay]

Alec ran his hands down his face, trying to rub the sudden exhaustion out of his eyes. He sent one more concerned glance at Nick and the healers surrounding him, and when it looked like they were making good progress, Alec slouched out of the room. Back in the hospital corridor, he looked both ways, trying to figure out where he would find Kaalee and Nara. A bunch of raised voices were coming from the left so he went that way.
Rounding a corner, he ran into a group of healers all bombarding a slight figure in the center of the group. It was Kaalee. He pushed through them and wrapped a protective arm around her wIst. She looked like she was going to be sick. The bloodshot glare he sent them had the healers all closing their mouths. "You all suck at your jobs if you can't even tell when someone looks nauseous. Back the hell off and go do your job elsewhere." His voice was low and menacing, and he was too tired to care that the healers had been doing their job.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"They are love. Come on." She said, leading him to the set of waiting chairs. She sat him down, and sat down next to him, scratching his back.

[Alec/Jay]

He was still glaring in the healers' direction. He sighed and turned to face her. "Are you alright? You didn't look good back there. Dis something happen?" he cupped her face in his hands and searched her eyes with his.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"I'm fine. It was just, I'm scared that they might die. You don't know how lucky we are that we got them before...before she..." Kaalee started hyperventilating, the nausea coming back, black spots dancing across her vision.

[Nara]

One of the healers came out of the room and walked up to Alec and Kaalee.

" are you the one who brought Miss Riddle inside? She asked Kaalee

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"Yes?" Kaalee asked, working to fight her terror back.

[Nara]

"Miss Riddle is awake but she is in shock, she doesn't response to any question and she is repeating Nicholas I assume that is someone she is very close too? You can go and see her" the healer nodded and walked away

[Alec/Jay]

"I know. But that's irrelevant now because they're safe and being taken care of. She won't get to them again, well make sure of it."

Alec grabbed Kaalee's hand o support her when they stood up and walked nimbly after re healer. He was murmuring soft, comforting but meaningless words to her that echoed loudly in the white, empty corridor.

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"Thank you." Kaalee said hoarsely to the healer, before walking with Alec.

"I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm freaking out like I am." She said, but even as she said it she knew it was a partial lie, she knew why she was freaking out so much, she just couldn't remember it.

[Nara]

I saw Alec and Kaalee coming in, my eyes shot open. " Nicholas?" I watched them with my eyes full with tears. "Nicholas please Nicholas"

[Alec/Jay]

"Ypu don't have to apologize, love.You're allows to be freaking out, it's a perfectly acceptable time to be freaking out, actually." They entered the room and immediately Nara started asking about Nick. "He's fine, honey. They're taking good care of him." He couldn't tell her more than that because he didnt know anything else. He looked down at his feet, and saw, to his horror, that his shirt was covered with Nick's blood. His face paled, but he looked back up at Nara with a small smile on his face. "He'll be okay."

[Nara]

I shook my head and my tears streamed down, I closed my eyes i wanted to say so much but I couldn't, my exhausted body took over everything I opened my eyes again " it's all my fault I don't deserve you guys"

[Alec/Jay]

"Shut up." Hi voice was harsher than he intended It to be, and he took a deep breath to calm himself down. "Nara. This is what friends are for. We're here for you even when you make stupid mistakes. We'll always be there for you, no matter what the situation. I don't want you to say something like that ever agai, okay?"

[Nara]

I looked at Alec and then i said nothing and lied back in my pillow. "I want you to leave me alone i almost killed Nicholas and i'm the one who brought you guys in danger from the start. Don't tell me to shut up because you know this is true Alec" i wanted to say more but the pain from my legs were burning. "Aaaaaahhhh m-my legs my legss ahhhhhh do something" i tried to move my legs but i couldn't they were burning. The sweat was rolling down my face and then i felt myself fall in darkness......

[Alec/Jay]

He stared down at Nara in confusion for a second, frozen from the shock of what had just happened. Then, with a shake of his head, he jumped into motion. Alec ran out into the hospital corridor and grabbed onto a passing healer. The middle aged witch squeaked in surprise, and was just about to shake off his hand and scold him when Alec interrupted her desperately. "Please, can you get the lead healer for this room? It's an emergency!"
She nodded a hurried down the corridor and into another room. When she reappeared, she was trying to keep up with the long-legged strides of Healer Braxley. They reached Alec quickly, and without even needing to be prompted with a question, Alec explained what had happened in the room.
Healer Braxley nodded and his voice was short and clipped when he gave instructions to the witch. "Melody, go grab Jinn and Fredericks, and tell them to hurry up."
The witch, again, just nodded, and this time took off down the hall at a run, her white trainers slapping against the ground and white hospital robes billowing out behind her. Healer Braxley didn't say another word, but simply stepped through the door and ushered Kaalee out into the corridor. Alec saw Kaalee was shaking and wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly to him.
They stood there for another thirty seconds before a curly haired, young looking witch and a tall, serious faced wizard showed up, faces flushed from their dash across the hospital. The witch spared them a glance and paused for a second. She gave Alec and Kaalee a sweet smile showing a dimple in her right cheek. "I'm Healer Marjorie, but every one calls me Jinn. Please, this might take a bit, so go to the waiting room down the corridor and the first open room on your right. There are bathrooms, couches and armchairs for you to relax on, and there is tea and coffee and crumpets and biscuits. Go along now, dears." She made a shooing motion with her hand before turning and following her colleague into the room, the door shutting firmly behind her.
Alec led Kaalee to the waiting room and got her a mug of steaming tea. "Here, love, just the way you like it." He gave her a worried look since she just sag there, shoulders slumped and elbows resting on her muddy knees. Alec crouched in front of her and put a hand on her leg. She looked up at him with tired eyes. "Hey, it's going to be alright, okay? Braxley and the others are professionals; they know what they're doing. If it had been me, well, I would be a little worried." he gave her a small, crooked smile which caused a ghost of a smile to form on her lips. "I'm going to go back to the house and grab a change of clothes. I don't have any of your clothes, so is it okay if I just grab you a pair of my sweatpants and a t-shirt? They'll be a bit big, but they should work." Kaalee gave an almost imperceptible nod and Alec stood up, his knees cracking. "Be back in a jiffy then."
He turned on the spot, and reappeared at his house where he immediately rushed around grabbing a pair of jeans and a t shirt for himself. He jumped in the shower for three minutes, and then got out and threw on his clothes. Then he dug around in his draw for a pair of sweatpants that he had grown out of, as well as the smallest t shirt he could find. He found a pair of warm ups that hadn't fit him in years, and also a Kaalee-sized light blue shirt. He raised a brow at the clothes he held in his hand. "Why do I even have these still? There's no way I could fit into them."
With a shake of his head e turned on his heel and popped back into the visitors lounge where Kaalee hadn't moved. He silently took her still full mug of tea from her and handed her the clothes. "I think there are showers in there, by if not a change of clothes is still better than nothing, right?" She nodded and disappeared into the bathroom.
Alec slumped into a chair and grabbed a two crumpets; he was starving. Now all that was left for him to do was wait.

(I felt bad about how long it had been, so I made this one really long.)

[Nara]

Healer Jinn came into the waiting room where Alec was waiting.
"Hi you're family of Miss Riddle?" she didn't wait for a reply.

" Miss Riddle was cursed by Dark Magic, she is stable but she is still in pain because we couldn't take away the pain right away it has to go away slowly or else there will be to much medicine on her system. You can visit her but she is asleep." Healer Jinn sat down on the chair.

"She has been through a lot hasn't she? I had to calm her down and she looked at me, you can see it in her eyes, it's sad to see her in so much pain." she shook her head and stood up.
" sorry about that, I will leave you alone."

[Alec/Jay]

Alec let out a sigh of relief. "No, it's fine. Sit back down please, Healer Jinn." The curly haired witch complied and sat primly down in the seat. "Yeah, Nara's been through a lot, by she's tough and shell make it; she always does. But you said she would be better and is just in pain? There won't be any lasting effects from the magic?"

"As far as we can tell. It will probably take her awhile to get better, but once she does, the only scars she will have left are emotional ones." Jinn paused uncertainly before continuing on. "You may want to have her see a psychologist or a healer specializing in emotional problems when she gets better from the magic. She's been calling out about some guy named Nicholas...?" Her tone implied that she was asking if Nicholas was him.

Alec shook his head "Nick is in another room down in the intensive care ward." He stuck out his hand. "I'm Alec Wiebel." jinn shook it.

"Okay, and that's the only reason I was suggesting it. Seemed like something that would be beneficial for her." She stood up and smoothed out her robes. "She should be up in a few hours, If you want to come back then. Otherwise you are welcome to go and visit her. I have to go take care of some other patients, but I'll be around." she gave Alex another smile and then bustled off down the corridor.

Alec sank back jn his chair in relief, closing his eyes

[Nara]

I felt nothing but pain but i was really calm for someone who is in pain. What happened i can't really remember it. i tried to open my eyes but i couldn't i was really tired. I desperately wanted to know how Nicholas was doing.

I tried to open my eyes again and this time they opened but i closed them right away because there a bright light shining and my eyes couldn't handle that much light. after a couple of times opening and closing my eyes i could open them and look around there was nobody in the room. I moved a little but regretted immediately there came a pain shot out of nowhere so i was breathing heavy to handle that and didn't dare to move again.

I looked out of the window next to the door, i saw healers running around with their white robes and talking to eachother and then i saw a family coming in looking worried i sighed and looked around the room where are Alec and Kaalee, did they left me how long am i been sleeping and what if Nicholas died? i moved again. OUCH damn!

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

Kaalee ran her tongue across her teeth. She had started shaking violently. She didn't have this reaction to Voldemort, why Amalia?
"Oh don't even ask that. It's a stupid question." A voice said from behind her. Kaalee screamed but Amalia quickly clamped her hand over Kaalee's mouth. 
"Shh!" Amalia said, putting her other index finger to her mouth. 
"We don't want to...enlighten anyone to the fact that I'm here, do we? Hate to have someone die? Like...you're fiancé?" Amalia asked, grabbing her hand, which had a ring on it. 
"Oh...remember what happened to Jonnilee's boyfriend? I thought the two of you had learned. I guess not, since it happened again. Come on then, we're going to have a small chat, just me and you." Amalia grinned cat-like, before they disapperated. They ended up in Kaalee's childhood home. 
"So...here we are. Got any knifes?" Amalia asked, going into the kitchen. Kaalee was sobbing now. 
"Where are they? You moved them!" Amalia screeched. 
"I don't...I haven't been here in at least 2 years." Kaalee managed to get out. 
"Fine we'll do this the hard way." Amalia said evenly. She went over to Kaalee, standing behind her. She took out her wand and whispered in Kaalee's ear. 
"Accio...butcher knife." Amalia said, moving out of the way. The knife landed in her lower leg. She screamed from the pain. 
"Music to my ear. It's been forever since I've heard it." Amalia grinned, taking the knife out. She looked at her watch. 
"I wonder how long it will take for your fiancé to realize you've gone missing. And how much longer it'll take for him to find you. I should wait until he's here. Have him watch as the life drains from you're face. Have that be his last mental picture." Amalia laughed cruelly. 
"Although I'm not sure I can wait that long." She grinned, stabbing her in the other leg. 

[Alec/Jay]

Through his haze of exhaustion, Alec thought he heard Kaalee shriek in the bathroom. His eyes flew open and he glanced toward the bathroom door in concern. When he didn't hear anything else, he sat back in his chair, shoulders relaxing again.
Alec sat in alone for awhile, alternating between studying his hands, glancing at the bathroom door, and eating the food he had grabbed from the counter. He looked at his watch and saw that at least 15 minutes had passed since Kaalee went into the bathroom. His forehead wrinkled in concern, and he heaved himself out of the chair, brushing crumbs off his shirt. "Kaals?" Alec asked, knocking gently on the bathroom door. No response or sounds and from within. His heart pumping wildly in his chest, he banged on the door and called her name again. A second later, after hearing no response, he pointed his wand at the locked door and cast a silent alohamora. The door sprang open revealing an empty bathroom.
Knees buckling underneath him, Alec had to grip the edge of the counter to keep himself from falling painfully to the unforgiving tiles. His vision went blurry and he felt like he was going to puke. "No...no...Kaalee..." he moaned, his voice thick with tears he hadn't even realized he was shedding and muffled by the hand clamped tightly over his mouth.
He couldnt see. He couldn't think. He couldn't feel. The only thing he knew was that she was gone, and he thought he knew who had took her.
"Fu-Fu-Fu--" he tried to form the swear word, but he couldn't get enough air into his lungs to be able to speak. Alec was hyperventilating, his breaths coming in short harsh gasps.
He had to find her. Before it was too--no he couldn't think of that.
With all the will he could muster, he stood up straight and forced himself to take deep, slow breaths, trying to calm himself down so he could think. It took him a few minutes, but finally he had himself back under a semblance of control.
Alec clutched his wand tightly in his hand, his mind made up. He turned on the spot and disappeared. When he reapparated, he was standing outside the house of the only person he could think of to help. He stepped up to the door and banged on it, the side of his fist turning red from the force of his knocks.
"ZANE," he roared, "ANSWER THE FUCKING DOOR, FOR FUCKS SAKE.ZANE I FUCKING KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!" He had lost his control again, this time, instead of helplessness though, he was furious and desperate--that combination was the most deadly kind. It turned a sane man into an irrational monster who would kill a brother without blinking an eye.
The click of a door unlocking cut his knocking and yelling off mid-word.
Slowly, the door opened, revealing Zane, his face blank of any expression. His eyes, on the other hand, said all: how he couldn't believe Alec was back, curiousity as to what had turned the calm man into this desperate lunatic, and disdain at Alec's lack of control.
"What?" he asked in a cold voice.
All of the energy seemed to leave Alec as his shoulders slumped. He didn't break eyecontact with the shorter man, though. "It's Kaalee. She's gone, and I think Amalia took her. I know you hate me, but please, I'm begging you now, if you still feel anything for Kaalee at all, I need you to help her."

[Kaalee/Jonnilee]

"She broke my heart." Zane said, more to himself then to Alec. He cursed under his breath and grabbed his wand. 
"We need to find her. She's smart, she won't go to the same place twice. She'll go somewhere that will hurt Kaalee emotionally as well. She's seriously twisted. Do you know a place that will be emotionally scarring for her tone there, or tortured there?" Zane asked, his voice clipped and emotional.

"Let's see. Mom always said not to play with fire didn't she? You never listened though did you? Never got burned luckily. Are you still as lucky?" Amalia grinned, grabbing a lighter. She didn't like using magic to torture her victims. She preferred to use the muggle way. She once said it was because it required more imagination. She was twisted beyond belief, and Kaalee knew this. Amalia grabbed some butter from the fridge, spreading it in designs around Kaalee's skin. 
"No! Please!" Kaalee sobbed, trying to shy away from Amalia. 
"No! You were bad! You went against my rules! And now you need to be punished." Amalia said simply.
