i looked at my hands before i looked back at the others.

"alright but no more personal questions for me, you scared the hell out of me and i know i'm too young to have a baby but i have my reasons for it." i said to the others before i walked up to Kaalee and hugged her whispering.

"I can remember anything and i miss him Kaals (ALEC)." i wrapped out of the hug and gave her a apologetic look before i plopped down on the chair.

Kaalee froze, tears coming to her eyes.
"Why?" She rasped out.
"Why on earth would you bring him up?" Kaalee asked her, standing up, her vision bluring. She let out a gasping sob before running out of the apartment.
"What did you say to her Nara?" Paige asked, clearly confused.

"I'm sorry okay, i can't help it, i almost lost her of his stupidity i thought she needed to know, i thought she remembered everything about him already! I jumped up and yelled at Paige.

I became silent for a couple of minutes before i spoke.

"They're meant to be together." I walked out of the store knowing that i did something really stupid but i thought she already knew. I leaned against the stone wall sighing.

"He left her Nara...he left her and it wasn't a stupid decision, it was probably the best one he could have made for the both of them but it still hurts her. Of course she can remember him. Maybe not with her mind but she has never gotten over loving him, and may never will. How could you say that to her?" Nara asked her, almost outraged.

I turned to Paige and glared at her.

"They were engaged Paige!! How could he be so stupid to go away like that! I'm going to find Kaalee and talk to her and tell her i'm sorry. One thing, i don't trust that guy there inside of your apartment." i walked away to find Kaalee

"He watched her almost die. She had nightmares every night that he was going to die because of her. They were never going to work out. The only reason they stayed together was because they were the one good thing for each other. But when everything was good for them how were they going to make it work? He needed to leave Nara...and you may not see it and Kaalee may not see it but that doesn't make it any less true." Paige called after her.

I didn't listen to Paige anymore and i saw Kaalee sit on a bench all by herself, i walked over and sat down next to her wrapping her in a hug.

"I'm sorry, i'm so sorry Kaals!" I sobbed. I wrapped out of her hug and stood up. "I have to go, sorry for ruining your day like that, if i knew i hadn't let you know that i remembered him. I slowly walked away from Kaalee

Jay looked around in confusion at the suddenly empty kitchen, his eyes wide. "Okay..." He muttered, and sighing, moved to the refrigerator where he took out the groceries. He set the knives about cutting the vegetables and used magic to help him begin the cooking. The turkey was still half frozen, so he put it in a tub of lukewarm water. Basically, he just bussed around the kitchen cooking while...whatever was going on outside happened.

"Nara if you didn't think I'd have remembered him why would you say that? Unless you know something that I don't" Kaalee snapped. She turned around and went inside. She got the stuff for the stuffing and started making it with a vengence.

I turned around and saw how Kaalee walked away from her and indeed she knew something about him but I thought she already saw him and how he was now. I shook my head I needed to rest. I apparated away from here.

Jay awkwardly cleared his throat. "Uh...want to talk about what's bugging you?" He flinched back when she violently cut a celery stalk. "Or you can take it out on the vegetables, that's ankther healthy option."

"No I don't want to talk about my ex-fiancee who I can't even remember because he thought it be the best idea to make me forget about him while he goes off doing who knows what or who and I'm stuck with this damn broken heart and everything I think things will get better something will remind me of him like you cooking apperently or my supposed best friend! And I just want to get threw tonight so I can go to sleep and forget about it because that's the plus side of this magic that makes me forget...it won't let me remember anything I might accidently remember about him!" Kaalee said, threw clamped teath as she tried to sharpen the mostly unused knives but ended up cutting herself.
"Fudge." She muttered, turning on the faucett with jerky movements.

"Okay, you don't want to talk about him. We don't have to do this dinner if you don't want to. I can finish it up and then leave, if you'd like. But let's not resort to self-harm, accidental or not. Here, let me help..." He offered, stepping up to her.
"If it's any consolation, he sounds like a bit of a selfish prick," jay said apologetically.

"I wish I could agree with you...but I don't think he wanted it. But I need to move on. And I don't want you to leave, well yet. Probably around elevan o'clock or so." She laughed sadly.
"Sorry for unloading on you...sometimes it's easier to talk to a stranger but the stranger doesn't always want to hear your problems." Kaalee sighed, turning to him.

He laughed, "We'll, whenever you want me to leave, just give me a look that says get the heck out if my apartment, and believe me, I'll skedaddle. And don't worry, it's not a big deal. Glad I could be of some help. It's not like your problem is insignificant."

"Okay, now food. Did I tell you I'm a horrible cook? I mean honestly I burn water." Kaalee told him, laughing, more upbeat now.

"Burn water? That takes some talent, woman!" He laughed and shook his head at her. "It's alright, this is a no judgment circle. I guess it's just a good thing I don't much like stuffing."

She winced slightly, but smiled.
"Sorry, didn't Paige warn you? She warns everyone we bring home." She said before she realized what that sounded like.
"And I'm going to stop talking before I stick my foot so far up my mouth I can't get it out." Kaalee nodded to herself.

He raised an eyebrow at her. "You bring home people often? And here I was thinking I was special!" He pretended to pout, but ended up laughing anyway.

"Moving on...it seems we lost Paige and Nara decided to go home...do you really have your heart set on a turkey? Espically since I destroyed your stuffing." She said, laughing slightly.

"Yes, where did that cray girl get to, anyway...?" Jay frowned and looked around for the upbeat goofball that had been growing on him. His attention brought back to the food, Jay frowned down at the substance that was supposed to be stuffing.
"Actually, I have a confession. I actually hate turkey..." He laughed. "I just thought it was an essential part of a traditional Thanksgiving, so I threw it on the list; we can give it to a church that does thanksgiving dinners for the homeless. They can always use extra. Anyway, what do we have that is actually edible" He looked around, surveying the food. "We'll, we have green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and rolls. That's about it. You still want to eat here?"

"Please, we have all of the United States at our disposal, including all of the major cities; there will be a restaurant that is open. Let me just think. I grew up in Boston--actually still live there--there are bound to be a few good restaurants that are open." He crossed his arms, pacing back and forth as he thought.His face brightened when he thought of one. "Oh! I know the perfect place! Here, I'll clean everything up in here while you go change--put on something casual dressy--and, if you're so inclined, you can try and find Paige if you think she'd want to come. Baby, we're going to Boston."
